Photography Studio Grand Opening

It is only appropriate that the first post on the new blog is to announce some super exciting news…..we have moved the studio~ to 309 East Main Street Turlock Ca~ Lots of work went into changing the ceiling and layout of the office that has sat empty for years!  Thank you to Barrett Construction.  They did a great job on a really short timeline!!! Thank you to my friend Dave Royalty for getting us started and assisting with the floor installation…..so sorry I broke your back and made you work so hard.  It would not have happened without you and your hardwork. I could not have done this with out Craig and Calvin~ they  busted their butts to finish the floors and move all of my props, computers , and all of the other stuff!!!  They have also been soo busy making special custom furniture pieces that are sooo beautiful I will hate to see them sell. My Dad and Mom came from Arizona for a week and worked on the beautiful barn door …. it is perfect… even if it has extra screws in it.  Ha..Ha..  They also helped me with the finishing touches…..hanging pictures. I am soooo excited to […]

Morgan and Vaughn Brenda I have had the BEST couples this year. I feel blessed to have met soooo many wonderful people through work. When Morgan and I met for the first time it felt as if we had known each other for years! I was honored to be included in their wedding day! Morgan loves details. I know she just LOVED planning their wedding. Morgan and Vaughn selected, St. Francis Episcopal, a small charming church in Turlock to hold their intimate ceremony. They followed their ceremony with a fabulous reception held at Two Guys Catering on Broadway which happens to be one of my all time favorites….they serve the BEST food! If you have not been their you should stop in the Red Brick Cafe….you will be in for a treat! Here are a few images captured…. A special appearance from Elton John. Vaughn’s FAVORITE artist:)

Stewart and Carlie Stewart (who happens to be my brother) and his wife Carlie came to visit this month. It just so happened it was during the two nice days in March-no rain or wind. They brought their two pups Emma and Maddie. Emma and Maddie were our puppies. We love to have them come and visit. It is fun to watch a pack of four dogs get together. As you can imagine the treats were flying! I have a special soft spot for dogs! I just love their eyes. I cannot imagine life without them! I know Stewart and Carlie would say the same.

With a classic motorcycle clasped to the back of Barbra and Anthony’s truck, the three of us headed to their engagement session at Lavender Hollow. It was hot out in the lavender fields during the session, but little attention was paid to the heat because Barbra and Anthony’s personalities were indeed vibrant and cool! While I was shooting the couple, I learned some very fun and quirky facts about the pleasurable pair and about other things as well. For example: -Stomping on an anthill doesn’t exactly encourage ants to leave.-There are many poses to cover up band-aids from uncomfortable shoes.-Anthony and Barbra both have a passion for motorcycles, quads, and dirt bikes-Attaching the motorcycle to the truck takes more effort than expected! Here are a few images from the session at Lavender Hollow. The engagement session was delightful. I look forward to their upcoming wedding!

I am LOVING this engagement session! Megan and Nick are such a cool couple…if you don’t believe me ask them how they met;) One picture will tell all…huh Meg? Don’t you think that Nick looks like a rockstar??? Here are a few of the couple that ROCKED their esession!
